Best of 2017

There are many things that I wish I could tell vendors before they start planning styled shoots, but I think the very first thing would be to find models with chemistry, whether or not they are a real couple. Nothing makes me more disappointed when the details and styling are beautiful, but the couple is obviously uncomfortable. Most models are professionals and know how to pose and act, but often times, vendors end up asking their friends to model, which can be hugely detrimental to the outcome of the finished product.

All of that being said - these are three styled shoots that did not disappoint!

First and foremost, the more variations of suiting we can find for female bodies, the better (in my opinion). I adore this Splash of Citrus Styled Shoot. It is bright and it has just the right amount of edge to peak my interest. There were so many incredible details (like a marble cake that is to-die-for). You should really do yourself a favor and check it out! Also, apparently plant jewelry is a thing now and I am completely obsessed. {Photo Credit: Sarah Mack Photography}

Mrs & Mrs balloons are actually always a good idea. Case-in-point? This gorgeous styled shoot that was planned for a real couple. There are massive floral headpieces, pineapples and monster bouquets, brimming with bright hues. It's everything you want out of a feminine, fun, summertime styled shoot! {Photo Credit: Taylor Bellais Photo}

Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to experience with this gothic, elegant, tattoo-filled styled shoot. It's everything I never knew I needed with a side of huskies (which I obviously always knew I needed.) This shoot is equal parts classic - with gold calligraphy and blush details - and completely out of the box - with these ah-mazing models, live tattoos on set and floral necklaces for the pups that make their eyes pop. If you missed this one, you're going to want to set aside a good couple of hours to dig in and enjoy this beauty. {Photo Credit: Jess Palatucci Photography}
