Angela's Proposal To Tori
My fiancé Tori and I got engaged recently in December. We’ve been together for two years. We both proposed to each other in two completely different and what we believe to be really special ways in two amazing locations that have a lot of sentimental meaning. I would describe us both as very colourful, creative and genuinely happy humans. I am a social worker and Tori is a nurse so we are both people persons. We love going on adventures together. I have lots of big ideas, and Tori is always up for a great time so it works perfectly.
I would describe our relationship as ever-growing, we learn from each other on a daily basis. We have been living with each other for five months now, we have a puppy and just have huge plans for our future together.
In regards to proposing, it was kind of stressful trying to make it all work together. I surprised Tori and whisked her away for a weekend in the Hunter Valley (which holds a big place in both our hearts as we’ve made many happy memories there). I just wanted it all to be perfect and for Tori and I to have the chillest and most magical weekend ever. I wanted to give Tori the best and most spectacular proposal and to show her how special she is to me. On the day, we were kind of late to everything (as always), we were getting pampered, getting our makeup and nails done then we met with the owners of Cedars and they took us to the Orchard on their property where Chris, from Photography On Hermitage, was waiting for us and you wouldn’t believe it!? Chris had to actually stop taking photos because he couldn’t even see what was on his screen due to the rain! We were then taken back up to our accommodation and the cottage was all set up exactly how I imagined and requested - fairy lights, candles and flowers everywhere and and a huge ‘will you marry me?’ to boot. She said ‘yes’ of course.
