Tori's Proposal To Angela

When it came to planning a magical proposal for Ange, I wanted to show her firstly how much the many memories we had made up until that point, meant to me and remind her of the happy times we had had falling in love with each other. I knew from a long time ago that I wanted to ask Ange to marry me in one of our most favorite places in the world - Queens Beach, in Vaucluse. It was one of the first places Ange ever took me and the place we shared our first kiss. Being located in Sydney and having a great plan to propose to Ange before the new year, I chose to ask her on the day of the new moon, thinking its the beginning of a new chapter.

Ironically, we got two weather extremes for both our proposals- heavy rain and sunshine, the two ingredients required to create rainbows (we tell ourselves).

The day started off with checking-in to our favorite accommodation, the QT in Sydney, we then went and got a makeup pampering by MAC and then were picked up by a fancy black car and I took Ange to the place it all began. I had our friends set up a beautiful little teepee, complete with a picnic lunch to be enjoyed by the two of us. Despite the heat, Ange managed to get a couple of laughs after reading the little love story I had prepared and created for her in her very own novel and said "YES" when I popped the question.

I had Same Love photographer, Frank capture the moment and we headed to Aria (to cool down) for a celebratory dinner afterwards. I am the luckiest human in the world to be marrying this woman.
