Dapper DC

Classic grooms and a killer dace party...two things that make us weak in the knees! Jason & Joel knew what they wanted; a great party & it sure looks like they got it!

From Tracy, their event planner...

The couple hired me exactly 6 months out from their wedding almost exactly to the date and we pulled everything together in that time frame for a June wedding. They knew they wanted a relaxed event on Capitol Hill (where they used to spend a lot of time) where their family and friends could enjoy themselves. They had a short but meaningful ceremony, including many family members and their dog as their ring bearer. They opted to skip a sit down dinner for a heavy cocktail reception and wanted the party to begin and really be in high gear the minute guests walked in from the ceremony. They really just wanted it to be a fun party for everyone and it was. They brought in a lot of their own details like the succulents and egg cups, making things really personal and special. Their favors were cookie cutters from Hills Kitchen, a store they love on the Hill, in the shape of all of the states represented there that night. The guests loved looking for their home state! It was a lovely touch that made their guests feel special.
