From Texas To SoHo
From the photographer...
Terence and Michael traveled from their Texan home to celebrate their love and become husbands in New York City, as they don't yet have that right in their state. They did it all in style with a sweeping view of the city skyline at the Trump Soho. Laughter and music filled their suite as they were getting ready together with some of their closest friends. It was easy to capture their joy and excitement in photo as they pinned boutonnieres on one another. Before leaving for the ceremony, they took a moment for a prayer with the Reverend who would be officiating their ceremony.
Romantic light streamed in the giant windows and harp music was being played as guests awaited the two grooms. Terence and Michael walked down the aisle individually, both smiling wholeheartedly. The ceremony included singing, joyful words from the Reverend and intentions from both of the grooms. It concluded with a candle lighting ceremony and a roar of applause for their first kiss. After proceeding back down the aisle, arm in arm as husbands, they took a moment of privacy on the balcony.
Guests enjoyed the view, appetizers and cocktails as they awaited the newlyweds. Purple enhanced every detail of the day including the flowers, the program and the cake. Terence and Michael were announced and guests took their seats for a heart warming speech. The grooms thanked this intimate group of friends and family for their support and for traveling. A decadent dinner, champagne and celebration ensued.
