Set on a charming-as-ever private residence, I can't get over this dreamy garden wedding's rich aesthetic, tucked away in Covington, Louisiana. I fell in love with all the lush greenery making this garden setting an oh-so romantic scene. I immediately knew I wanted to create a rich and moody garden inspired wedding, green house included. Playing off of the greens of the space, I chose rich dark purples, crimson, green and dark jeweled tones of a fall color palette that feels as lush as the season to create an aesthetic that was inviting.
Both brides wore stunning gowns with loads of drama. Bringing in decadent details like gray suede linens, cafe’ au lait colored candles, gold rimmed place setting, stemware and gold flatware created the perfect balance of moody and modern elegance. Layering in bold tones and texture and finishing it off with dark table arrangements created a tablescape that was chock-full of elegance. The jaw dropping bouquets, while bold, felt organic and airy. A custom stationery suite boasted gold calligraphy and set the tone for what was to come. A blue-green colored wedding cake with metallic detailing and blush florals paired perfectly with the garden aesthetic. The final touch was a dark eggplant purple lounge area added a pop of color in this secret garden and tied it all together nicely.
This was definitely a wedding I would hope to receive an invitation to!
