Tell us how you met and fell in love

We met in September of 2015, we had a friendship that turned into a whirlwind romance. Maggie would write me these amazing love notes before we were even together. She would tell me we would get married one day...she just knew it! I, on the other hand, had to quit fighting it.

We had tickets to see Mumford and Sons, just as friends... but Maggie had other plans. We were bickering about something silly and, just like a scene from a movie, Maggie threw me up against the wall and kissed me. That was it. The whole world stopped for a few moments and our friendship would never be the same again. The feelings grew and so did our relationship.

Was there a proposal? Tell us about it!

Well, Maggie had this grand plan to bring in some fortune cookie and have this big gesture. But after she picked up my ring, she just couldn't contain her excitement. She came home from work, still in her white painter clothes and got down on one knee and asked me to be her wife. I was in shock and asked if she was serious and then happily said YES! Honestly, it couldn't have been more perfect.

Are you planning your wedding right away or giving yourself some time to just be engaged?
