details

This shoot started out as a collaboration between my makeup artist, Ashley, and I. We've always clicked with a very out-of-the-box vision. When we started planning this shoot, the words "alternative", "dark", and "moody" quickly came to mind - we were getting tired of doing the same blush and gold wedding palettes over and over again. As we planned things out more, we decided a queer couple would be the best fit for this concept. We immediately reached out to one of our favorite Philadelphia tattoo models, Mimi Fulton, and put out a model call for the second model. When we picked out the venue, we knew it had to be something that went with our "moody" theme - what better than a mansion? Rae from Open Aire Affairs took care of us, and the venue was thrilled to hear about our shoot - as the owner and his partner are very supportive of the LGBTQ community! Rob, "The Wedding Tattooer" got word of the shoot - and wanted to join the team, offering to even do a live tattooing of the models during the shoot! We couldn't have asked for a better team of vendors to bring together our vision - one of my favorite pieces of this shoot had to be the florals. Holly went above and beyond and did such a stunning job on both of the bouquets as well as all of the other decor! We couldn't have been more excited with how the shoot turned out!
