From Chanda of A Monique Affair...

TheBank Palms Springs is an ideal Mid Century Modern wedding and event venue located in the heart of Palm Springs. This 1950s iconic building was originally Coachella Savings and Loan.

TheBank is a grand building with vibrant glass and metal, combined with warm tones via stone and wood accents offering the perfect space for a magical wedding ceremony and reception.    We staged a ceremony outside with dramatic views of the San Jacinto mountains, creating the perfect backdrop.

Following the ceremony, guests collected their beautifully hand calligraphed name cards before entering the lower level lobby to meet and greet prior to the grand reveal reception held in the large open main floor of TheBank.

The reception vision was perfectly executed to work in harmony with the clean, dramatic lines and views of the venue. The tables were set for a beautiful dining experience using a color palette of shades of blue, gold, and black. The flower arrangements were simple, using organic styling with white florals and green accents.

Acrylic tables and chairs were selected to further accentuate the drama of the room. The acrylic tables with round swirls were emphasized by the brilliant use of round plates, black matte flatware, and contemporary round stemware. In keeping with the round themes of the table, the first course stacked pear salad was also finished with round dots; a subtle touch that created a wow moment.

The cake was a dramatic three-tier design with abstract modeling on the smooth fondant. To add drama to the cake, it was displayed on an acrylic pedestal to create the illusion of floating in air.

I hope this shoot will inspire couples to call me - lol - and to explore the ideas of getting married in such an amazing  and historic space!
